Job summary

Centerline Machine in Waupaca, WI is seeking a CNC Machinist to set tooling, set work holding, and program on machine controls to manufacture precision parts from blueprints. The shop operates 5-axis mills, vertical/horizontal mills, lathes, waterjets, and horizontal saws.

You will read drawings, verify conformance with inspection tools, and maintain documentation. Expect a hands-on role with standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, and a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of CNC setup and programming experience.
• Ability to read and interpret product drawings and GD&T.
• Good math and measurement skills; accurate inspection with proper tools.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
• Read and comprehend instructions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set tooling and work holding; program on machine control to manufacture parts per blueprints.
• Operate CNC equipment including 5-axis/vertical/horizontal mills and lathes; use waterjet and saws as needed.
• Apply shop orders and instructions; record results and maintain documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area; comply with safety policies.
• Collaborate with team on department improvement activities.
