Job summary

AWC Frac Technology is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Conroe, Texas to set up, operate, and edit programs on CNC mills and lathes. You will produce precision components for industrial applications, reading drawings and GD&T specs, and ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role requires experience with Fanuc controls, G-code editing, and a strong focus on process improvement, tooling, and achieving production targets.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience operating CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Reading blueprints and GD&T requirements.
• Experience with tooling, SFM, and IPT.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Perform routine G code edits.
• Machine components per engineering drawings and specs.
• Support production runs and custom projects as needed.
• Monitor operations and improve efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues.
