Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking experienced CNC Machinists to join a world-leader in industrial turbochargers. The role covers CNC Milling, Turning and Grinding to produce high-precision components for sectors including marine, power generation, rail and oil & gas.

The candidate will read drawings, set up tooling, and ensure tight tolerances within a highly regulated environment. The position offers a 3-shift rotating pattern (37 hours/week) at Lincoln, with competitive pay, overtime and career

Qualifications

Experience setting and operating CNC Milling, Turning or Grinding machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience machining high-precision metal components to tight tolerances.
Experience working in regulated/high-precision manufacturing.
At least 4 years' relevant industry experience is desirable.
NVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship desirable.

Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC Milling, Turning or Grinding machines.
Produce high-precision metal components to tight tolerances.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Use calibrated measuring equipment to verify parts meet standards.
Complete machining operations efficiently and in line with production requirements.
Work as part of a multi-skilled team across CNC areas.
Maintain quality, health & safety and housekeeping standards.
Support production targets and continuous improvement.
Be flexible to work additional hours as required.
