Shively Diversified Management Services seeks a Precision Machinist specializing in CNC Mill and Lathe programming and machining. You will program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to produce tight-tolerance components from engineering drawings.

You will interpret blueprints and GD&T, select tooling, monitor tolerances, perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience (Mill or Lathe specialization).
• Proficiency in G&M-code programming and editing at the machine.
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience with precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes.

Aufgaben

• Program, edit and optimize CNC programs for Mill and/or Lathe operations. Knowledge of G&M codes preferred.
• Set up machine including material, tooling selection, offsets and fixture alignment.
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings accurately to produce complex parts.
• Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
• Operate CNC Mill and/or Lathe to manufacture precision components.
• Download existing programs into the controls and make necessary adjustments to the programs.
• Update header and tooling information for clarity and reuse.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust to maintain tolerances.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks with precision measuring instruments.
