Curtiss-Wright EMS SAS is hiring a Machinist for a 1st shift in Summerville, SC. You will set up and operate large vertical turret lathes to achieve tight tolerances and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements.

With 3+ years of CNC lathe experience, you will measure, inspect, and adjust processes while maintaining safety and quality in a state-of-the-art facility supporting Navy and commercial customers.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3+ years in CNC machines operating vertical lathes.
• Experience interpretting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate large vertical turret lathes with precision.
• Interpret blueprints and work instructions to define machining requirements.
• Measure and test completed units for conformance to specs.
• Select tooling and materials for each job.
• Maintain machines and report issues to maintenance.
• Monitor feeds/speeds and adjust tooling as needed.
• Document production and inspection results accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and keep a clean workspace.
