Industrious Group, a manufacturer serving hydro turbine components, seeks a CNC Machinist II to set up and edit programs for CNC machines producing high-precision parts. You will interpret engineering drawings, select tooling, and ensure parts meet strict quality and safety standards.

Collaborating with engineering and production teams, you will monitor performance, adjust as needed, and help deliver reliable turbine components on schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Two years to four years' experience as a CNC Machinist.

Responsabilités

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of geometric tolerancing
• Able to make all but the most complex component set ups on large VBM's
• Able to edit programs for VBM's
• Able to make all but the most complex components set ups on large HBM's
• Keep Supervisor informed of problems regarding work piece, schedule, safety, etc. as they arise
• Able to edit programs for HBM's
• Cleans up sweepings of machine tool operation scrap and collects in scrap/trash bins
• Able to set up feeds, speeds and judge cutter/insert condition to optimize machining operation for meeting surface finish and productivity
