Job summary

BALEMASTER seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to read blueprints and part lists, set up and operate CNC and manual machines, and maintain tooling with high precision. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and adherence to safety standards in a heavy industrial environment.

You will work Monday through Friday in Crown Point, Indiana, with benefits including health and retirement plans. Background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and parts lists to process parts.
• Operate CNC and manual machine tools with close tolerances.
• Set up controls, speeds, feeds, and tool offsets.
• Explain basic CNC programming concepts and edit CNC programs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprint drawings and parts list to process parts.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and manual machine tools.
• Maintain and inspect cutting tools and fixtures.
• Observe machines to detect malfunctions and adjust as needed.
• Keep machines clean and well maintained for production.
