Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows in Sharon, MA is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up CNC and manual machines, read blueprints, and run high-precision parts for aerospace, defense, and energy applications.

You will program with CAM software, verify tool offsets, and inspect parts with micrometers and calipers. A minimum of 5 years' experience and a strong focus on safety and quality are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of materials, tooling, and machining best practices.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Master the craft - Achieve and maintain required Operator Authorization(s) and run high-precision work.
• Program with precision - Develop, edit, and fine-tune CNC programs while setting up fixturing.
• Build accuracy from the start - Set machine origins, offsets, and tool lengths to spec.
• Turn prints into real-world results - Work from blueprints, material requests, method sheets, and instructions.
• Shape perfection - Machine components to tight tolerances and finish.
• Innovate with Engineering - Partner on custom jobs and process improvements.
• Equip for success - Load tools, run first-piece tests, validate setups.
• Guard quality at every step - Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision tools.
