Job summary

Jobot in Warren, MI is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team. Set up, operate, and monitor CNC equipment to produce precision components, reading blueprints and specifications, and maintaining quality.

You will work with ISO quality processes, select tooling, adjust offsets, and collaborate with quality and supervision to keep jobs on schedule. Strong measurement and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience as CNC Machinist in precision manufacturing or job shop.
Strong reading of blueprints and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T and tight-tolerance machining.
Experience selecting tooling and setting machine offsets.
Excellent measurement and inspection skills.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision machined components.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and production orders.
Select proper tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machine settings based on job requirements.
Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments.
Inspect finished and in‑process parts to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances.
Utilize micrometers, calipers, gauges, indicators, and other precision inspection equipment.
Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
Optimize setups and machining processes to improve efficiency and repeatability.
Document inspection results and production information as required.
Perform basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Work closely with quality, supervisors, and other machinists to keep jobs on schedule.
