Job summary

Qualifications

• The Machinist role requires programming, setup, operation, and inspection of precision CNC components.
• Ability to develop efficient machining programs and optimize cycle times.
• Strong ownership of work, safety, and quality across the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit CNC programs using Mazatrol and CAM software.
• Develop efficient machining strategies to optimize cycle times and tool life.
• Review part drawings and determine tooling and workholding.
• Troubleshoot and refine programs during first-run prove-outs.
• Maintain organized and documented programs for repeat production.
• Set up CNC mills and/or lathes for production runs.
• Load tooling, fixtures, and materials according to setup documentation.
• Operate machines to produce parts that meet required specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
