Job summary

E.J. Basler Co. is seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join day and night shifts.

You will set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes to produce precision metal components that meet strict quality and safety standards. This hands-on role requires at least 1 year of CNC experience, keen attention to detail, and teamwork. You will read blueprints, adjust tooling and offsets, perform measuring with micrometers/calipers, and help maintain production quality.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of CNC machining experience
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and part specifications
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
• Basic shop math skills
• Ability to make tool offsets and basic machine adjustments
• Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes
• Load bar stock and parts using bar feeders and manual loading
• Perform drilling, boring, tapping, reaming, and milling
• Monitor machine performance and adjust for quality and efficiency
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Maintain 5S work area and safety standards
• Collaborate with team and quality personnel to meet production goals
