Aerotek is seeking a Machinist to operate and set up CNC machines for precision drilling, boring, and milling in Maize, KS. You will read blueprints and setup documents, inspect parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Set up CNC machines for drilling, boring, and milling.
• Inspect finished parts and verify dimensions per tolerances.
• Follow setup documents and work instructions.
• Maintain clean, safe machining practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines safely for drilling, boring, and milling.
• Set up machines with tools, fixtures and workholding devices.
• Read blueprints and setup docs to determine machining needs.
• Inspect finished parts with measuring tools and compare to specs.
• Document deviations or defects identified during production.
