Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with 3-axis CNC machines preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings to verify part conformance.

Responsibilities

• Calculate dimensions or tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and portable CMM/FARO.
• Machine parts to specifications using 3-axis CNC machines.
• Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools for precision machining.
• Align and secure fixtures and cutting tools per setup documentation.
• Measure and test completed parts to ensure conformance to drawings and customer requirements.
• Monitor feed and speed, maintain tools, and diagnose tool malfunctions when needed.
• Study parts, blueprints, and engineering data to determine product conformity.
• Verify operations with engineering or inspection staff and document results.
