Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing Group, LLC is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts in Lyndonville, VT and Saint Johnsbury, VT. The role offers full-time employment with an hourly salary range and exposure to CNC milling and turning equipment.

Operators read blueprints, set up controls, monitor feeds, perform maintenance, and ensure quality through inspection tools. The position requires safety awareness and teamwork in a Lean environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Standing and walking 100% of the time; lifting, reaching, and repetitive motion.
• Use of hand tools and power tools.
• Clear close vision for inspection of parts.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must work in a safe and reliable manner.
• Must be able to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and/or written specifications for a job.
• Write programs and apply machine tool math.
• Understand and monitor the feed rate and speed of machine.
• Set-up controls and make the cuts to make machined parts.
• Ensure machine is working properly through standard preventative maintenance procedures and to ensure proper feeding, cutting, cooling and lubricating during operation.
• Utilize specialized inspection tools to check tolerances.
• Understand and maintain QC procedures.
• Work within a Lean Manufacturing Environment and keep the area clean and safe.
• Follow ISO procedures.
