Job summary

QCC, LLC manufactures parts within a cell with multiple machines to exacting blueprint dimensions and ensure 100%-part quality. Operator performs simple set-ups and tool changes on manual and CNC turning / milling machining centers to extend tool life while meeting production rates.

This on-site role requires reading drawings, GD&T, and performing first-piece inspections, with emphasis on quality procedures and calibration of inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3+ years CNC milling/turning in a job shop.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform first piece inspections.
• Familiar with GD&T and maintaining tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts to tolerances.
• Follow setup sheets and procedures; notify supervisor if rates fall short.
• Perform first piece inspections and document findings.
• Maintain equipment and work area; ensure calibration of inspection tools.
• Troubleshoot processes with Manufacturing Engineers as needed.
