As a Precision CNC Lathe/Mill Technician, you’ll execute complex set‑ups, run parts across mills and lathes, and safeguard quality, safety, and documentation throughout every job.Where You’ll Work & WhenLocation: Trevose, PARegular schedule: Second shift, 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM EDTOnboarding: Train on first shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM EDT) for the first few weeks, then transition to second shiftYour ImpactSet up CNC mills and lathes: load programs; install and adjust chucks, vises, collets, bushings, tool holders, attachments, stops, and stock pushers.Perform program edits and prove‑outs; run first‑article and sample checks to validate settings.Operate drill presses, manual mills, and manual lathes as needed to support production.Load/unload raw materials and finished components safely.Inspect using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and machinist hand tools; compare results to drawings and standards.Maintain part specifications by monitoring drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing; take measurements; detect malfunctions; troubleshoot processes; adjust controls; and replace worn tools.Document work, note irregularities, and communicate pass‑downs to ensure smooth handoffs between shifts.Uphold 5S and maintain a safe work environment; follow company, OSHA, and EPA rules; use machine safeguards; report hazards promptly.Support additional related duties as assigned.Must‑HavesHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.At least 5 years operating and programming CNC mills or lathes; 7 years preferred.Basic English literacy (read, write, speak, understand).Proficiency in math and trigonometry.Team‑oriented communicator who can also work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to read and interpret part and tool prints.Skilled with precision measuring tools; proven ability to hold tight tolerances.Physical DemandsRegularly stand, walk, or sit; use hands to handle tools; reach; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; communicate; and occasionally taste or smell.Lift/move up to 35 pounds on occasion.Visual acuity needed: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.PerksCompetitive sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates, based on experience and shift requirements.
