Precision Associates Inc. in Minneapolis seeks a Turning Center Operator/Programmer with Mastercam expertise to program and run high-precision CNC turning centers, live tooling, and sub-spindle work.

You will interpret 2D/3D CAD drawings, perform in-process inspection, and ensure final fit and finish to mold component tolerances. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years technical college or equivalent experience.
• Strong CNC turning experience with live tooling and sub-spindle work.
• Proficient in Mastercam programming.
• Manual lathe experience required.
• Machine shop skills or experience a plus.
• Computer literate in Mastercam, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC turning centers using Mastercam, including live tooling and sub-spindle operations.
• Operate CNC lathe and Turning Center for precise mold components and mid-low volume production.
• Perform manual lathe operations for one-off parts.
• Execute final fit and finish of mold components to exact specifications.
• Drill press operations including drilling, tapping, and chamfering.
• Read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints and inspect in-process.
