Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Wichita, KS seeks a CNC Laser Operator to produce parts meeting customer specs. You will set up the laser, adjust speeds, and run the job from blueprints and work orders.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.
• Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Able to operate hand tools.
• Maintain quality with minimal scrap and pursue continuous improvement.
• Education: HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC Laser Machine according to work orders, blueprints or drawings.
• Adjust machine speeds or actions for variances using gauges or controls.
• Read orders/blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances and plan setup sequence.
• Load and unload parts as production requires.
• Measure and verify dimensions before and after processing.
• Detect and report defective materials or equipment malfunctions; keep area clean and safe.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and assist in other tasks as needed.
