BARNES AEROSPACE WEST CHESTER MRO is seeking a Machine Operator to set-up and run CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser equipment, ensuring parts meet specifications with high quality. You will read gauges, document outcomes, and ensure proper options per customer orders.

The role requires careful attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, with weekend night shifts (Fri–Sun, 6pm–6am). FAA/DOT safety compliance is a must, and candidates should have two years in production plus a high school diploma or

Qualifications

• Must have two years of experience in a production/shop position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to use basic math and follow instructions to complete tasks.
• Able to communicate in writing and verbally about work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines per specs.
• Monitor dimensions with gauges and calipers to confirm part conformity.
• Complete paperwork documenting part quality and process details.
• Check assembly needs and verify correct options for orders.
• Assemble components and verify proper fit and fastenings.
• Use precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM as required.
