Job summary

Barnes Aerospace West Chester MRO in Ohio is seeking a Machine Operator to set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM, or Laser machines ensuring parts conform to specification and requirements.

This safety-sensitive role requires attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, with a weekend shift (Fri-Sun 6am-6pm). Two years of production/shop experience and a high school diploma are required, plus FAA/DOT drug testing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines
• Monitor part dimensions with gauges, calipers, micrometers
• Complete paperwork documenting part quality
• Check assembly for proper fit and options per customer order
• Assemble components and verify connections for correct fit
• Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM
