Barnes Aerospace West Chester MRO is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and run CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser equipment, ensuring parts meet strict specifications. The role emphasizes precision, adherence to procedures, and accurate documentation in a fast-paced shop environment.

Two years of production experience and a high school diploma are required. This safety sensitive position requires compliance with FAA and DOT drug/alcohol testing rules and a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC Grinder, EDM or Laser machines to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Monitor part dimensions using calipers, micrometers and height gauges to ensure conformity.
• Complete paperwork documenting part quality.
• Check paperwork for required assembly and special options.
• Assemble components by inspecting connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
• Use precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Build electrodes for Fast Hole EDM.
