Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC seeks a Utility Operator to support OD and Centerless Grinding operations, ensuring high-quality carbide tools through setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC grinding equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Ability to use measuring and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate OD and Centerless Grinding machines and equipment.
• Read blueprints and tool specifications accurately.
• Program and operate grinding equipment to specification.
• Inspect tools using precision measuring instruments.
• Verify product quality throughout manufacturing and on finished tools.
• Identify and report quality concerns to programmers, engineers, or supervisors.
• Perform daily machine checks and basic equipment care.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and cross-training.
