Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled CNC Grinder for our 2nd shift in Pomona, CA. The role involves setting up and operating CNC grinding machines to produce precision components, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality standards.

You will edit programs in G-code, use calipers and micrometers for measurement, and maintain equipment and safe, organized workspace. This is a permanent, full-time role with a shift differential and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as CNC Grinder or similar in manufacturing.
• Proficient at reading blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC program editing.
• Proficient with calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines to spec.
• Read blueprints and manuals to understand requirements.
• Edit CNC programs using G-code to match design.
• Use calipers/micrometers to verify tolerances.
• Maintain and mount grinding wheels; troubleshoot issues.
• Keep area clean, safe and organized; collaborate with team.
