Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a Precision Grinder (CNC Centerless Grinding) to operate, set up, and inspect precision grinding processes in our Machine Shop. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and ensure parts meet exact tolerances with ID/OD checks.

The role requires 3+ years in centerless grinding, familiarity with Cincinnati centerless grinders, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Join a team committed to Lean manufacturing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in centerless grinding.
• Experience as a Precision Grinder in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set and adjust machine controls to product specifications.
• Measure work pieces with precision instruments.
• Select tooling for production requirements.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to determine specs and sequences.
• Mount and position tools in chucks and spindles.
• Operate grinding equipment per specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance with tolerances.
