Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking reliable machine operators skilled in operating CNC machines and brake presses within a fast-paced fabrication environment. You will set up, run, and monitor production equipment to shape, cut, bend, and finish metal components to tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines or brake presses in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and standard work instructions.
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Commitment to safety and quality outcomes.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to ~50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and operate CNC machines according to work orders and drawings.
• Set up and operate press brake equipment for bending and forming sheet/plate metal.
• Load and align tooling, fixtures, and program parts based on specs.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using measuring tools.
• Perform routine maintenance and report issues to maintenance or lead personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily goals.
• Document run times, material usage, and production data accurately.
