Rust Belt Recruiting is seeking an experienced CNC Boring Mill Machinist for a second shift in North Ridgeville, OH. You will set up and operate boring mills to produce high-precision components, reading complex drawings and using precision tools to verify tolerances.

The role requires 5+ years of CNC boring mill experience, strong knowledge of multiple CNC controls, and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC boring mill experience.
• Fluency with manufacturing and machining drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of multiple CNC controls (fanuc/siemens/heidenhain etc.).
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC boring mills to manufacture precision components.
• Read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Verify part accuracy with precision measuring instruments.
• Optimize tool paths, speeds, and feeds by adjusting controls.
• Select cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job order.
• Perform routine operator maintenance for safety and uptime.
• Collaborate with QA to maintain workmanship standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace.
