Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to receive and analyze specimens and report results in a timely manner in line with hospital procedures. You will participate in quality control, safety programs and maintain supplies, while applying professional judgment under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Medical Technology (or related) and MT(ASCP) eligibility, with 1–2 years of clinical lab experience or a hospital internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA), MT(AMT) eligible for registry.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze laboratory specimens and report results in a timely manner.
• Participate in and help evaluate Quality Control, Quality Assurance, maintenance and safety programs.
• Maintain parts, reagents and supplies; assist in teaching and continuing education activities.
