Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking laboratory technicians to turn field samples into numbers used to guide projects: Proctor curves, sieve analyses, Atterberg limits, moisture contents, and compressive strength breaks.

You will operate inside a documented AASHTO R18 quality system with calibrated equipment, maintain logs and chain of custody, and perform tests with care to accuracy every day, including break reporting and proficiency support.

Qualifications

• Careful hands and clean documentation habits required.
• Ability to perform repetitive precision work accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude to handle lab equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASTM testing per D698, D1557, D2216, D4318, C136, and C39.
• Maintain calibration, standardization, and quality records.
• Log samples and preserve chain of custody.
