COP Construction is seeking a Civil Carpenter to build, set, and strip concrete forms for footings, walls, decks, and site work. You read blueprints, establish grades, and ensure forms are straight and ready for pour.

This role emphasizes hands-on craftsmanship, teamwork, and safety. You will work outdoors on varied projects, operate forming systems, and coordinate with foremen to maintain quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of concrete carpentry experience (or equivalent).
• Proficiency with carpentry tools (measuring tools, saws, drills, etc.).
• Strong ability to read and work from blueprints and plans.
• Knowledge of forming systems, layout, and concrete placement processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, set, and strip forms for footings, slabs, walls, columns, vaults, decks, parapets, and site work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Layout work and establish proper grades and elevations.
• Install embeds, anchor bolts, and accessories for concrete placement.
• Brace, anchor, and secure forms to ensure stability and accuracy.
• Assist with concrete placement and finishing using vibrators, trowels, bull floats, and edgers.
• Grind, chip, or smooth concrete surfaces to meet finish expectations.
