Job summary

Fusion Inc. is seeking a Chemical Mixer in Willoughby, OH to join the Plant 2 team. You will mix high-quality brazing and soldering alloys, measure ingredients, and ensure batches meet strict specifications with ISO 9001 procedures.

The role requires attention to detail, math skills, and the ability to operate batch systems. First shift, 40 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Math skills including measurements and calculations.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read, comprehend, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS, basic data entry).
• Willing to wear an air-purifying respirator with proper clearance.

Responsibilities

• Verify equipment cleanliness prior to batch production.
• Gather and prepare ingredients (base, powders, etc.) according to batch recipes.
• Perform accurate mathematical calculations for tare weights, material conversions, and quantity adjustments.
• Weigh materials precisely and conduct second‑party weight verifications.
• Conduct viscosity tests at specified temperatures and document results.
• Prepare and stage batches for adjustment while preventing contamination.
