Qualifications

• Identify sub-standard ingredients or products and take corrective action.
• Must be able to work a 40-hour week with overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtains proper recipe and packaging procedures before shift.
• Calibrates gram scale and checkweigher properly.
• Monitors variances and takes action on negative variances.
• Checks metal detector with ferrous and nonferrous wands.
• Reworks product rejected at the checkweigh scale.
• Performs daily checks on component weights, sealing, and coding.
