Job summary

Nestlé USA in Springville, UT is hiring a Prep Operator to operate the Extructor machine and support production on 1st or 2nd shift with 10‑hour rotating schedules. Applicants should be able to stand 9–10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs while maintaining GMP and safety standards to produce quality, consistent products.

You will gather equipment and recipes, calibrate scales, ensure paperwork is complete, and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must follow GMP, USDA policies and the food safety program.
• Identify sub‑standard ingredients, products, or procedures and take corrective action.
• Must be able to transport oneself on concrete surfaces which are often uneven, wet or slippery.
• Must be able to stand 9–10 hours with breaks and work 40+ hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Extructor machine and troubleshoot as needed.
• Pick up equipment and recipes before shift start.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Eliminate cheese waste and fill out scrap and WIP tickets.
• Obtain and calibrate scales when needed.
• Ensure cheese and/or mixture is properly labeled and covered.
