Qualifications

• Understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must follow GMP, USDA policies and the food safety program.
• Must be able to weigh commodities accurately.
• Must be able to stand a 9-10 hour shift with breaks.
• Able to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Obtain proper recipe and packaging procedures before start of shift.
• Monitor line variances and take action when negative.
• Calibrate gram scale and checkweigher.
• Check metal detectors with ferrous and nonferrous wands.
• Rework products rejected at the checkweigh scale.
• Clear jams from the production line safely and quickly.
