Qualifications

• Able to weigh commodities accurately and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Obtain recipe and packaging procedures before shift.
• Ensure forms, thermometers, and stickers are available.
• Monitor variances and take corrective action as needed.
• Calibrate gram scale and checkweigher.
• Check metal detector with wands.
• Rework products rejected at the checkweigh scale.
• Clear jams in the checkweigh area.
• Perform MIR checks on component weights and tray sealing.
