Job summary

Precision Castparts is seeking an operator to produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines. The role involves following procedures, maintaining records, and assisting engineers and quality teams to ensure product quality.

The candidate should be detail oriented, able to work in a team, and capable of self-direction to meet production targets while adhering to safety standards and housekeeping expectations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision.
• Mold or plastic injection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Injection Machines.
• Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc).
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Monitor material levels and replace as needed.
• Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
• Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
