Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Cleveland is seeking an Injection Mold/ceramic cores operator to produce quality ceramic cores using Injection Machines, prepare dies, obtain materials and inject parts according to procedure.

You will follow procedures, maintain records, perform routine machine maintenance, monitor materials, assist Engineers and QA, ensure safety and 6S standards, and work with a team on-site.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Operators need to be able to comprehend and read procedures.
• Mold or plastic injection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Injection Machines.
• Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc)
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Monitor material levels and replace as needed
• Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
• Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
• Other duties as assigned by supervision
