Job summary

The ideal candidate will read technical specs, work independently, and adapt to process changes. Training includes forklift safety and hazardous waste handling, with emphasis on safe daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with ceramics or investing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret Process Control Procedures, Technique Cards and other technical specifications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to assess out-of-norm situations, institute corrective actions, and maintain production flow.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to lift and push.

Responsibilities

• Operate slurry makeup and testing per specifications.
• Maintain records of time and production progress.
• Set up and operate core processing equipment.
• Inspect cores for quality and defects; initiate corrective actions.
• Follow safety rules and wear protective equipment.
• Assist in maintenance and basic setup of equipment.
