Staccato Ammunition, based in Florence, Texas, seeks a Case Lathe Operator to set up and run Brut Case Lathes, ensuring precision and adherence to QA procedures. You will learn the ammunition casings process and uphold safety while meeting productivity targets.

The role emphasizes mechanical skill, accurate measurement, and ability to work 4x10 schedules. Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or LEAN is valued, and a High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills required and good verbal communication.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or LEAN principles preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work a 4x10 day shift (Mon-Thu).
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of Brut Case Lathes, setup and calibration.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Brut Case Lathes.
• Verify precision with calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
• Read and follow detailed product schematics and prints.
• Identify non-conformances with data trends and report them.
• Meet or exceed departmental manufacturing and efficiency targets.
• Verify settings by measuring first-run parts per specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and keep work areas safe and clean.
