Job summary

Green Thumb is hiring a cannabis trimming role in Kentucky. The successful candidate will trim cannabis flowers by hand or with equipment, aiming for a high-quality product while minimizing waste, and will follow SOPs for compliant processing.

You should be able to handle long periods of standing, lift up to 50 pounds per safety demands, and work in a fast-paced team. Prior trimming experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided and background checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate a scale.
• Ability to focus on a task for long periods of time.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Self-starter, flexible to work in a collaborative structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior trimming experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and perform job tasks in a consistent manner.
• Must have a good attitude and work well in a team environment.
• Stay on target with daily production metrics.
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds, at times above head.
• Prior cannabis experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Trim flower quickly and efficiently while ensuring quality.
• Trim by hand and/or using trimming, sorting and packaging equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Sit and stand for long periods, focusing on detail.
• Track unusable waste and usable by-products per plant/batch.
• Demonstrate proficiency with weights, measurements, and math.
• Communicate openly with management and teammates.
• Follow all SOPs and training directives.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Team Lead.
