Job summary

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our team. This role calibrates, certifies, maintains, and supports Hexagon's portable metrology products, including Absolute Arms, Laser Trackers, NextSense systems, and AICON Scanners.

This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision measuring, and the ability to work in a laboratory and production environment.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED; associate degree or cert preferred.
Experience calibrating portable metrology equipment or similar tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and precision instruments.
Ability to read technical drawings, procedures and work instructions.
Proficient with basic computer apps; familiarity with calibration software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Calibrate and certify portable metrology products in line with ISO 17025 and NIST traceability.
Verify measurement accuracy and generate calibration certificates and reports.
Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair calibration equipment.
Maintain accurate calibration records and quality documentation.
Support ISO 17025 compliance and internal quality audits.
