Job summary

Harnish Group Inc. in Kent, WA, seeks a Repair Specialist for SITECH NW to assemble, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot precision instruments used in CAT machine control systems. You will support service technicians and customers, ensuring accurate diagnostics and effective resolutions.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Technical school or 3 years verifiable experience in optical-mechanical assembly.
• Soldering and electrical circuitry experience preferred.
• Experience in programming or building computers desired.
• Fine motor skills and manual dexterity required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, adjust/calibrate, clean, and test instruments and subassemblies.
• Perform wiring diagnostics and troubleshooting of instruments and systems.
• Read calipers, height gauges, collimators, VOMs and other measuring devices.
• Provide support and troubleshooting to customers and service technicians.
• Capture and document customer information including purchase orders, serial numbers, and warranty data.
