Aerotek is seeking a Cable and Wire Harness Assembler in Fairfield/Clifton, NJ, to assemble harnesses under customer specifications in a climate-controlled production area. The role involves interpreting drawings, crimping, wrapping, and testing assemblies, with a Monday to Friday schedule and overtime as needed.

This is a contract-to-hire position onsite in New Jersey. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualificações

• Interpret detailed drawings, blueprints and specifications to build cable harnesses.
• Follow BOM requirements and customer specifications with accuracy.
• Maintain safety, quality and process guidelines in production.
• Collaborate across teams to meet production deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret drawings and follow specifications to assemble harnesses.
• Wrap, crimp, strip, and shield wires to fabricate assemblies per requirements.
• Identify and verify parts, report discrepancies promptly.
• Inspect finished work for quality and compliance; perform repairs as needed.
• Test units and document results according to procedures.
• Adhere to BOM and design standards; support new projects onsite.
• Work with team to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
