Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking an Electronics Assembler to accurately complete wire and cable assemblies. The role involves reading diagrams, assembling wires into harnesses, soldering, and inspecting finished products at Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk regularly.
• Vision exam required to inspect work at close distance.
• Must read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints and schematics.
• Must be able to read and understand measuring tools and perform basic math.
• Must be able to use tools required for wire harness assembly.
• Keen attention to detail and quality.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and reach.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.

• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements
