Job summary

Uinta Cabinet in Francis, UT is seeking a full-time Bench Carpenter to build, sand, and prep cabinets in our Francis shop. Entry-to-mid level with on‑the‑job training, reliable hands, and eagerness to learn the cabinet trade are encouraged to apply.

You will assemble cabinets and doors, perform precision sanding, and operate woodworking tools, with focus on accuracy and quality. This role offers a stable, family‑owned workplace with potential for growth and higher skill bench work over time.

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking, carpentry, or shop class or strong mechanical/hand-tool skills.
• Able to read a tape measure and basic drawings.
• Physically able to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
• High attention to detail and pride in doing things right the first time.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hardwood doors and cabinets, including five-piece, shaker, and custom designs.
• Perform precision sanding so doors are ready for stain or paint.
• Operate and care for woodworking tools: table saws, sanders, routers, drills, etc.
• Inspect materials and finished doors for quality and consistency.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and work orders to meet exact specifications.
• Work with the production team to hit daily and weekly build schedules.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
