Job summary

Rowen Works in Salt Lake City is seeking a carpenter for shop work and cabinet installations. Real carpentry experience and the ability to read cut lists and shop drawings are essential; a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for site tasks.

We offer a small, steady shop environment with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and five paid holidays. Pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour depending on experience, with CNC training provided as needed.

• Proven carpentry experience in cabinetmaking or millwork.
• Ability to read cut lists and shop drawings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to lift 100 lbs and work in a physical environment.
• Punctual and dependable with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Install cabinets and built-ins including setting and leveling.
• Hang doors and drawer fronts; install hardware.
• Build cabinet boxes, face frames, and doors in shop.
• Break down sheet goods, edgeband, sand and prep.
• Run CNC with training provided and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Keep shop and job site clean and organized.

Rowen Works is a custom cabinet shop in Salt Lake City. We build cabinetry, built-ins, and millwork for homes across the valley, Park City, and Utah County. We're hiring a carpenter to work in the shop and run installs.

Some install experience preferred. If you've set cabinets, hung doors, and run trim, you're who we're looking for. If you've got solid carpentry but no cabinet install time, still apply.

What you'll do:

• Install cabinets and built-ins - setting, leveling, scribing, trim, finished ends
• Hang doors and drawer fronts, install hardware
• Build cabinet boxes, face frames, and doors in the shop
• Break down sheet goods, edgeband, sand, prep
• Run the CNC - we'll train you
• Keep the shop and the job site clean

What you need:

• Real carpentry experience
• Ability to read a cut list and shop drawings
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift 100 lbs
• Show up on time, every day

$22-28/hr depending on experience. 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Five paid holidays.
