Award Staffing is hiring a Break Press Operator for the 2nd shift in Fridley, MN, on a temp-to-hire basis. You will load materials, operate machinery, read specifications, and ensure safety and product quality.

Required: HS diploma or GED, good communication, basic math, 2 years break press experience or transferable skills, ability to lift 30 lb repeatedly, and the ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand project specifications, operate the computer interface, load materials, and ensure safety and product quality.
• Establish and maintain a high level of machinery knowledge.
• Form metal parts according to project specifications.
• Track quantity and quality of work.
• Prep parts for next production steps.
• Ensure that the machinery is performing as intended.
• Keep a clean, orderly work area.
• Work safely and wear personal protective equipment.
