You will set up the brake press, inspect finished parts, and maintain a clean, safe work area while following all safety procedures and production standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand mechanical part drawings is critical.
• Strong understanding of dimensions, fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Previous brake press or sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or metalworking experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret part prints, blueprints, and drawings.
• Understand and accurately interpret dimensions, measurements, angles, and tolerances.
• Set up and operate a brake press to form and bend metal parts.
• Measure finished parts to ensure they meet print specifications.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality. Follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Use basic measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and other shop measuring equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
