Qualifications

• Two years or more experience with Press Brake machines (Amada, Cincinnati, Trumpf).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in set up, operating, or tending machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal/plastic materials.
• Considerable knowledge of product conversion and good oral/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.
• Examine completed pieces for defects and sort defects by flaw type.
• Measure finished pieces to verify specifications with micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.
• Read work orders or production schedules to determine materials, locations of cutting lines, and tolerances.
• Load, position, and secure pieces, adjust dies, and maintain machine alignment.
