Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Brake Press Operators for a power solutions manufacturing company in Faribault, MN. In this role you will operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal per engineering drawings, set up tooling, and verify accuracy with calipers and gauges.

You will monitor production, document results in Epicor, and follow safety procedures while maintaining an efficient workflow in a modern facility. 2+ years of machining experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of machine operation experience.
• Experience with metalworking, bending, or tooling preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machines to bend, shape, and form sheet metal according to drawings.
• Set up and calibrate machines, tooling, and dies for accurate production runs.
• Position and align materials for precise bending operations.
• Inspect components using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools for quality.
• Monitor production, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain workflow.
• Complete production documentation and records in Epicor.
• Follow safety procedures and perform routine tooling maintenance.
