Job summary

TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS is seeking a Welder A - Fitter in Catoosa, OK. The role requires welding and fit-up work to meet customer specs and industry standards. You must read blueprints, select welding processes, set up equipment, fit and weld parts, and inspect welds for quality.

A minimum of 2 years welding experience and the ability to pass welding tests are required. Day shift, full-time schedule, with emphasis on safety and production teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to pass required welding tests.
• AWS D1.1 knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specs.
• Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.
• Adjust welding parameters per job requirements.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and defects.
• Repair welds when necessary
• Grind and clean welds, slag, and spatter
• Safely operate manlifts and cranes for material handling
• Maintain clean and organized work area
